Course Description

NAR Training’s Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Online Hybrid Initial Education Course adheres to the US Department of Transportation’s National Emergency Medical Service Education Standards. The AEMT training program is approximately 240-hours in length, with a blend of online didactic education with 24/7 accessibility and fulfillment of laboratory, clinical, and field training requirements at one of our Training Centers. Graduates of this program will be able to describe the essential elements for response to the scene of a medical emergency; perform a thorough patient assessment for signs and symptoms of illness/injury; provide prompt and efficient basic and advanced emergency care to the sick and injured. Students will also learn how to transfer the patient to a higher level of care.
